However since day 1, my strategy is to hold long term until I 'high and song' then I sell. 50% of my portfolio is from CPF so that will stay for considerable years, good probability to reach $5 min then though I am expecting $10. 50% from cash will depends on whether I need the money or whether there's other counters that can generate faster Profits. If you took up scrip it will be worth 1,052 shares ($2550/$2.422) So the difference is 1,052 shares x ($2.49-$2.422) = $71.59. Therefore whether you took up scrip or not, the difference is $71.59.

They have board representation and would be concerned about the financial posture of Singtel, instead of just looking to collect dividend cash. They are not looking to win a battle and lose the war.
