x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Yes, the result from SGM is very suspicious, especially for the proposal #2 and #3.  Based on my survey, ~95% of minority shareholders would vote against the proposals!!  But is there anyone who read all the details and just voted " No" for #1, but " Yes" for #2 and #3??

How can reso 1 be 53% for then suddenly reso 2 which require 75% to go through suddenly become 75.5%?!!!! This is market manipulation, can we actually sue the independent directors for mismanagement. Suspended since 2011, China Hongxing last traded at 11 cents, or $110 per lot of 1,000 shares. The once high flying company was at one point trading at more than a dollar before lapse in accounting and governance sent the company spiralling. All three resolutions tabled at an extraordinary general meeting held this morning were passed, albeit with significant opposition. Specifically, shareholders protested the first proposal, to accept the offer by former CEO Denis Wu to buy RMB470.7 million worth of assets for RMB 100 million ($20.8 million). Out of this RMB100 million, RMB28 million will be paid in cash, to be distributed to minority shareholders other than Wu&rsquo s family, who holds around 30% of the company. The rest of the consideration is debt due to Wu. The first and key resolution of selling the assets to Wu was passed with 53% for and 46% against. The meeting was fronted by the three remaining independent directors, Alfred Cheong, Bernard Tay and Charles Chan Wai Meng. They have all been with the company since it was listed in 2005. The result of the EGM was clearly not accepted by several shareholders, including one who shouted: &ldquo You made us waste half a day here to put up an act.&rdquo Others questioned the independence of the scrutineer and demanded to see the voting slips. With the sale, China Hongxing, which has been suspended from trading for seven years, will become an empty shell. Correct me if I am wrong... 53% for reso 1 and 77% for reso 2...   spoke to some ah Pei and aunty... they go scared of being delisted by sgx, so they voted for... really got con twice by China pple... sabo...  the rto they spoke will will never happen within 1 year, even if they do ur share will be diluted to an amount so small u might as well forgo.  Disappointing result. Dunno can recount or can we sue them for mismanagement.

Einstein is right.... human stupidity know no bound. 1. The Independent director is not vested, of course they want it to go through and collect Direcotr fee from the escrow fund. 2. The RTO i heard from the guy beside me need to be completed within 12 months, otherwise its worthless. 3. Wu family still hold 33% of the shares and likely they will dilute our share next to zero if the RTO does happen and they got listed in Hong Kong or else where 4. Seriously, i dunno why pple go and vote for instead of against. Already got rob once and you still believe in the ID to do things properly, really? they have 7 years and they were with the company from the start.  Anyway thanks for making Sporean look naive and gullible for those who voted for.
