This is one of the good stocks I have been holding for a Long time. Not so lucky on all stocks though, some dropped badly. Covid 19 will be around for a long period. Vaccine for the mass will only be developed in 1 to 1.5 years time (vaccine safe enough for patients in critical condition can be found much earlier but those cannot be approved for the mass). Tens of thousands in Singapore will either lose their jobs or have lower income, more people will slowly be cutting on expenses and choose cheaper options like Sheng Siong. Moreover, Sheng Siong is still expanding in Singapore. Even after the world can control Covid 19 next year, it will take a long time for economy around the world to recover. Singapore ?s economy depends on the world. People won ?t immediately find jobs or get higher pay overnight after Covid is controlled. Sheng Siong will continue to make strong profit for longer than some may think. With huge fund in multi million dollars from the increased profit which they rake in every month, they can expedite their expansion plan.

This one, no horse run!!! According to the Law, after the company collect money from the customers, the employee must be paid first. The salary of the employee is part of the capital cost. So employee is 2nd, no issue. Shareholders like us are 3rd, no problem. But if the employee boh dai boh zhee, get 1 more month of pay that is not stated in their contracts. It becomes 1st customers, 2nd employee, 3rd employee, 4th shareholders. We become 4th, not 3rd!!
