Actually yesterday drop in oil px surprise many, UE key problem is Winter, not MFG for now, they need oil. Travel picking up right? Oil needed China trying to rescure their property sect, only way is to push start the construction sector (oil from Russia) US they need to bring back their reserved. If anyone worry about " in case" , US / China should be first one anyway, just my view. dyodd |

Nobody wants war la, but it a fight of honour and dignity between the two. Nevertheless nothing wrong if one worry " In Case" la. Most of the time, when this happens oil get push up instead, in case really happen oil will shoot on demand, so some country will stock up a bit.

Global level as a reference, Invesco DB Energy fund has declined 17% from Jun peak. Another globalenergy fund XLE has declined 16% from the same Jun peak. SG oil counters, RHP down 30% (impacted by global factors and unfairly by poor sentiment of another oil counter). Waiting for H1 results to bring some " justice" to RHP and possibly some goodies to shareholders and some analyst upward re-ratings. |

to cap your competitors price is an idea. but will other buyers take that. as long as there is a discount against your price there will be takers. as long as russia can sell they get revenue. what happens is usa will get longer high oil price, rest of world importer remains sucker to pay more for oil. the green energy movement must escalate. solar, wind, hydro, wave. etc onsaving energy side, more led, more induction cooker/heater then other form of direct fire heating. how about sucking air from higher altitudes down to cool down the earth surface. jsut a dream it may happen with flying kites. |
