Refinancing risk (one reason for distribution suspension) is the key factor depressing the prices for both KORE and PRIME. The latter is quietly confident to refinance before July debt is due. KORE need to bring leverage down significantly below 45% to have a better position to negotiate with lenders. | ||||

I believe , prime will reduce 6% in valuation . Whether they keep a base div or not, that one dun know.
But as of NOW, whatever happens to Prime, Kore is confirmed worse already. And the market already assumed Prime wld do the same and already dropped Prime. Ie the price is baked into Prime liao.
Kore and prime have same value of assets , and same debt , roughly similar. Ppl who thought Kore was safer, were fooled. They werent. Might as well have bought prime when prime was 15 to 16ct than Kore at 25 to 30ct.
Kore and Prime will be around 10 to 12ct , similar value for 1 to 2y
But, if Prime maintains div. Prime will split above Kore and be above 15ct cos the Kore crowd will dump even more kore and move to prime.
Place your bets guys.

Prime will announce results tomorrow after market closes. Does anyone know if Prime needs to write down any asset value? If it does then the dynamics swings back to Keppac?

That is true , but KORE is not done selling. So Dont catch a falling knife. Kore will end up around 10ct or less. Then you can buy. Prime shorts have been covered, kore is where the Shorts are at now. | ||||

Buy on fear.. NAV become super attractive if u r able to hold it out. I am sure bargain hunters will come in. And if interests rates cut along the way. There might be chance distribution might be reinstated..

Kore is at 12ct NOT becos of contra guys. Its value has dropped due to dividend suspension, its price is now converging to Prime. Because their asset values and debts are similar. Only difference is Prime debts r more secured and they have not announced a dividend suspension. The trade is Short Kore, Buy Prime. | ||||
