Agreed - they may be in need of money and have no choice but to sell.

Let' s see from today' s closing price whether these investors are really misguided or they are actually dumb.  | ||||

People already sold to you cheap, then just received them happily. No need to say they are dumb clowns! They might be the weak holder or intended to take profit earlier!

All men are never created equal.   There is also no such thing as equal opportunity.   The success of any endeavour is solely based on timing no matter how smart and intelligent.   You must be born in the right place at the right time and doing the right thing right.   If Bill Gates and Warren Buffett were born 200 years earlier during the American Civil war, they would never be successful.  | ||||

Yes. It?s good to advise them but some seem determined to commit financial suicide and little you can do. They are highly likely to sell CapitaLand and buy some other share that goes down subsequently - meanwhile CapitaLand will give those who bought from them 9c dividend and the benefits that come from the delisting. CapitaLand has offered shareholders a good package but they seem determined to take small profits while missing out on the main gain. It?s obvious that CapitaLand shareholders should just buy and hold at this point to make maximum gain.

I agree with you that they were misguided.   But I wanted to give them a stern warning not to be stupid and give up their golden goose to those who are already so very rich.   I think the CEO salary is about $4m excluding his shares options.  | ||||

Let?s be nice and not call them dumb - I prefer the word misguided. To sell anything below $4 is akin to 🔥 money 💰 - unfortunately some misguided people seem to have money to 🔥

Achtung Achtung.  Those dumb clowns that had sold their CAPLAND shares $3.77 or below.   They are really dumb and stupid idiots.   According to the latest updates by CAPLAND, the institutional investors like JP Morgan and the CEO of CAPLAND group had been buying them up in ten of thousands of lots at $3.77 and below.   The price currently hovering around $3.79 are dirt cheap.   You will never be able to buy them at such a big bargain price for long.   I was lucky to buy them on average $3.755, thanks to all the dumb investors.     |

Totally agree JP Morgan is using investment into Singapore blue chips ( the ones that either have room to run or like CapitaLand are delisting with a good financial package going to shareholders ) as a hedge against an over bought US market

JPMORGAN said in a Thursday report that it would be moving ST Engineering (STE) to an " overweight" rating and a December 2021 price target of S$4.80. Previously, STE was not rated by the investment banking and financial services group. See foreign investment bank are now more actively promoting SG stocks likely capitaland is in the radar

Let me explain - JP Morgan is not just buying and selling randomly - they are using CapitaLand as a hedging mechanism - this means that they have a hedge which expires ( date structure) and they have to roll over and hence they are buying back what they sell - the share is tending up so they have to buy back higher than they sold - they have many hedge positions - it?s a very good sign for CapitaLand and a recognition that the company delisting and dividend can be used as a hedge to offset losses they might have in other position - hike this clarifies

Even institutional investors like JP Morgan bought lots of shares at $3.78 and then sold them at $3.76 yesterday' s CapLand email report.   They are real cuckoos.   You see what I mean. That said, I also bought a couple of lots at $3.76 and have been accumulating all of them for a much longer term strategic outlook of CLIM and the forthcoming dividend payout.   I agree that the 45 cents future profit is decently good. After all, the next three to four years seems predictable and the probability of global economic recovery and growth seems certain with low and restrained inflation projections by the US Federal Reserves after a totally unexpected global economic and financial debacle of 2020.  |

Dividend at $0.09 is attractive but seems like a trap to me to go in if this counter remains flat till the end of year. Any thoughts? | ||||
