Yes, it seems unlikely for S51 to break 13.5 cents cleanly until next Feb when they announce 2023 results and restructuring plans. There are still about 8-10 billion seatrium shares in KC shareholders' hands that are eager to sell at marginally higher prices. Keppel O& M has still to prove its worth to help Seatrium win at least 1 FPSO from the Petrobras P84/ P85 tender. If don' t win anything (not likely in my opinion), share price might move below 12 cents. Keppel also have (based on last update) about 1+billion Seatrium shares to sell for their contingency fund. About the rights issue, not likely in 2024, but cannot rule out totally for 2025 when Seatrium will be facing liquidity challenge to complete the 4 Petrobras FPSOs in 2025/26. Also Temasek likely want to increase their Seatrium shareholding. What better way through buying at 1-2 cents via a heavily discounted rights issue. Can never trust Temasek from past experience.

Thanks Bro, I am aware even if they need to ban me. But these selfish ppl must be told off cos they hurt others who have nothing to depend on. I am not a technical expert but I have been investing for the past 28 yrs using charts to guide me, which serves me rather well. I made my wealth from the stock mkt & esp US mkt & also from properties bought in 2008 (AFC period). I only recently voice in this forum cos I realised so many idiots deliberately trying to create confusion for others. I don' t need to depend on forum for news as I 90% focus on using technical. Like now, the 200 MA is still down for Seatrium on a certain time frame, so expect this weakness for a while. Thanks again.

If the company has the ability to generate +ve free cash flow, I dont see why using excess cash to par down higher cost debt is a bad thing. It is constructive from a capital management PoV to improve overall returns rather than for it to be idle and having to bear interest expenses. | ||||

Seatrium has just announced that it has used up the remaining money ($300 millions) of the right issue.
