all taxis companies have no answer to the on slaught by grab n uber. You can see comfort share price will go below $2 as the loses are great without the taxis rental income |

If you want to see where the taxis are parked, you can go to city cab building. The taxis are parked even in the rooftop. Some of the industry building are used to park taxis are in woodlands near woodlands spectrum 2 ( or rather the new building next to spectrum 2) as well as new building known as wave.

Yup even before the upcoming results price already went below $2. I dont know how much lower it would go, since everyone knows every quarter results would be poorer then the other for the coming year. Probably $1.8 after they release results.

Wow the $2 mark came faster then I tot....just one day and it hit 1.995 today. The point that CG bid is 30% higher then SMRT and as such lost the recent mrt contract spell a lot about the COST control in CDG. Hmm if they dont manage well and continue as it is ....good luck to this blue chip. DYODD.

Even before results out. already touch $2. It might drop lower than $1.8. I was expecting it to rebound around $1.8 area. Now that it has touched $2 so easily. shortist will come in as sharks to take a bite each. | ||||

u waiting for grab/uber to run out of cash? lol... You must understand the concept of business now is different after the success of facebook. It' s get all the market share you can get now, and then, talk after on how to make money from it. So, money will just be raining down for all these companies.. Comfort, no differentiation at all, nothing they can do against such mammoth... They can' t even raise money easily, how to go into such a fight? | ||||

relax. today i take mrt, they even block off the gantry area as the train broke down. I open my phone and see justgrab from east to central $29 excluding ERP. too chor when everyone switch from taxi to drive grab, everyone have to pay that surge for the ride, then they will realize, got promo also useless. no Promo laagi worse., still have to take the train & Taxi driver switch to drive grab also same customer service. Now LTA pushing to tax PH for the earning. Without promo - ridership will eventually fall PH cars do not run on disesl cash will eventually burn out wait lor

Comfort only concern drivers can pay rental or not.....Lol recently invited them to country club to listen to CEO talk....After that..Only given 1 bao and 1curry puff.....Not sure true or not....Heard from their drivers

comfort taxis are parked in several places including industrial buildings that are under utilised. They are not selling or scrapping them as it will show a big hole in their account. Very soon will be reflected in the share price

Singapore' s decision makers are so contradicting. It seems the ministers don' t talk to each other. If a decision has been mooted for a " car-lite" Singapore, why would they approve Grab/Uber to flood the market? And why did they require Taxi Drivers to undergo intensive course lasting 30 sessions in 6 weeks, refresher courses every 5 year or so? What' s the reason given? And why did the Grab/Uber drivers just walked in without being subjected to the same rules? Double standards? No, not targetting Grab/Uber drivers, they can only be right by doing what the government approves, they are not wrong. However, the policy is definitely screwing Singaporeans. Clearly the transport sector is doing badly....all screwed up, quite obvious and I don' t have to elaborate. But who will never lose? The CEOs. They will continue to enjoy their fat bonuses, just increase train fares, bus fares, ERPs and whatever if they need to bring in more revenue. No need to have any business acumen to do the job. |
