x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Airtel to chalk out fund raising plans February 01, 2021, 19:31 IST NEW DELHI:  Bharti Airtel&rsquo s board will meet on February 3 to consider raising more funds, mainly via debt, in a bid to build a war as the second largest telco needs to buy spectrum in the upcoming auctions, invest in network besides pay statutory dues, among other requirements. &ldquo Board of Directors, in its meeting scheduled on Wednesday, February 03, 2021, shall also consider routine financing/ re-financing strategies and any consequent raising of capital through various instruments including debentures, bonds, loans etc. either denominated in Indian rupees or in foreign currency and of suitable tenor and characteristics, subject to applicable regulatory/ statutory approval,&rdquo   Airtel  said in a regulatory filing on Sunday evening. x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Bharti Airtel Q3 preview: Telecom operator likely to post profit in Q3 sales may hit record high Feb 02, 2021, 09:05 PM IST MUMBAI:  Bharti Airtel is expected to return to profit in the quarter ended December as the company is likely to report a consolidated net profit of Rs 222 crore as against a net loss of Rs 763 crore reported in the previous quarter, according to estimates from six brokerages polled by ETMarkets.com. India&rsquo s second-largest telecom operator will report its earnings on Wednesday, likely after market hours. The telecom operator is expected to report consolidated revenues of Rs 26,387 crore, a record high, implying a quarter-on-quarter growth of 2.3 per cent. Bharti Airtel has seen a dramatic turnaround in its earnings profile in the past few quarters helped by the tariff hike taken in December and increasing subscriber additions. Airtel added 13.9 million users &ndash the most in three quarters &ndash and subscribers moved to higher-paying plans. Brokerage firm Kotak Institutional Equities expects the company to report another quarter of robust operating performance as it expects consolidated operating profit to rise 10.5 per cent sequentially to Rs 11,362  crore. Brokerage firm  Axis Capital expects the telecom company&rsquo s operating margins to expand 90 basis points sequentially to 46.9 per cent.
