x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Yup , I can assure you it?s true . I have know of shorters who can sell without marking it as a short . So long as you cover within a day , it?s fine . Unlike HK where there will be criminal liability if you are caught shorting without marking , there?s no such punishment in Singapore . Hence the shorting in HK is limited while in Singapore , it?s rampant coz there is no criminal liability over this . There is also a list of stocks in HK that can be shorted unlike sgx where you can naked short anything . So In HK, you have to borrow scripts from your broker to short . That?s why I think this stock is shorted from all possible angles while those BBs buying up bleeds by those and retail selling down . In my opinion , this stock can only move up when the really big boys come in and change its direction . But to do that , they must plan carefully . Usually it coincide with the release of news which is possibly on the 22nd or an announcement by the company. More importantly, I always run through the trade details everyday and I don?t use to see sell orders of huge amount in this situation before. An example : someone sell down 1.57 mil at the 0.095 price in a single transaction . and the price never recover after that . But given this environment , retails cant queue in millions so basically if one BB is accumulating , they are losing to another Bb that?s shorting . But from what I know , big BBs know each other so they avoid each other unless they are coming up against a large group of retail shorts syndicated by a leader with deep pockets . BB will be the first to buy at low & first to sell at high.. so to earn money, retailers just have to pray that they are at the same side of the BB' s action.. when u still have lots of retailers inside, no point for BB to buy up for retailers to escape or earn money from them.. once most of the retailers have given up and despair and sold, they will buy up again and lure another group of retailers.. cycle goes on.. support and resistance prices or whatever technicals are just guidance and not 100% accurate, because at the end of the day, BB dictates the technicals, and it also can vary with ppl in interpretation of chart.. for such penny that moves base on sentiment on a short term basis, it is likely that a lot of BB traders are in play and whatever fundamentals will have to be discounted.. and when we use fundamentals, we should be looking at proven sustainable strong growth at normal situation, and not at one-off situation such as pandemic that raises the short term demand.. base on the past 5 years revenue/profit trend, medtec doesnt really shows promising long term growth (strongest profit in last 5 years is in 2016, which is 0.186 US cents, or about 30 p/e based on today closing of 7.6cents).. anything above 10 p/e, we can throw it one side in terms of fundamentals, unless it can show that it has sustainable double digit growth every year.. and once again, dont ever use NAV to gauge whether a counter is undervalue, unless that counter is a property related counter or has mainly cash constituting their NAV..
