No need to overthink with our limited info.. it' s either get it right or wrong, 50-50% chance, like gambling for this counter that has attention of BB traders.. technicals can only help in its limited way and slightly increase the chances of getting right, at the end of the day still see BB.. medtec has gone down for a number of days, and probably many retailers have already given up.. retailers need to sell and make their losses before BB will buy and earn from another round of retailers.. when u have many retailers buying, then its time to sell.. similarly when lots of retailers gave up and chalk their losses, then probably can look to buy (provided the trading interest is still there).. the more it drops, the higher likelihood of a short term rebound, just that we dunno when..

Yup , I can assure you it?s true . I have know of shorters who can sell without marking it as a short . So long as you cover within a day , it?s fine . Unlike HK where there will be criminal liability if you are caught shorting without marking , there?s no such punishment in Singapore . Hence the shorting in HK is limited while in Singapore , it?s rampant coz there is no criminal liability over this . There is also a list of stocks in HK that can be shorted unlike sgx where you can naked short anything . So In HK, you have to borrow scripts from your broker to short . That?s why I think this stock is shorted from all possible angles while those BBs buying up bleeds by those and retail selling down . In my opinion , this stock can only move up when the really big boys come in and change its direction . But to do that , they must plan carefully . Usually it coincide with the release of news which is possibly on the 22nd or an announcement by the company. Your opinion ?

With a large trading volume, there couldnt be just 1 BB playing.. probably there are many unrelated BB in the picture and it makes things complicated to analyse.. we retailers lack a lot of info.. i read in posts before saying that those doing naked shorts probably wont have it reflected in the daily short seller reports.. if it is true, then there's no way to prove or say how much there are actual short selling involve.. im just a spectator with no vested interest and so i didnt monitor anything.. we can come out with thousands of possible theory but end of the day, no one can tell if we do not have the info but just based on guessing

One guy come out of nowhere and said he made 30k in 2 days. And then now everybody wants to short. Have it ever occured that he could be the catalyst to get retailers to short by playing with the current sentiments and once everybody starts to be in shorting mentality, the BB will start to push up suddenly to catch the shortist?
