Luzern      ( Date: 30-Aug-2018 09:59) Posted: The reasons that is surpressing  the price are 1) US China Trade War 2) Property Cooling Measures 3) PR Issue Item (1) still on going.....next opportunity to cool thing down would be the Trump Xi meeting in Nov Item (2) Unlikely to change anytime soon, the real impact of the measures will be known in Q3/Q4.    How many En Bloc deals have been cancelled so far from this? Item (3) Issued resolved, but what was the damaged down in the 2 weeks?

Will the Chinese Banks face write off issues.  Correctly me if I am wrong, DBS are mostly   lending to the " safe clients in China" , the Banks and supposely grade A Companies in China.  IMO ........Mahathir is more damaging to the Chinese Economy than Trump at the moment,  and Trump' s tariff is more damaging physchologically.

x 1   x 0  Alert Admin	For trading I hv no comment. As from investment its a KNOWN fact that Q3/4 growth wld taper ( esp after stronger growth in Q1/Q2 ) ....n added the trade tension. However, barring any global issue/  DBS is still easily crossing $4B or more profit a year, the best Asia bank here.  Its worth will be seen over the long term for those investing in it . At $1.20 dividend yield a year .....certainly happy for longer term investor on this blue chip DYODD
