x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	I have invested in the US for the last 8 years. My best buy was LVS, Qihu and Statoil. I cashed out of Qihu too damn early. Bought at 16 sold at 70. It went all the way to 100!!   Bang Balls man.Now too EX. Don' t trust tech......it was an impulse play. LVS at 46 and sold at 75. Bought again at 71. Now stuck but can collect Div so no worries. Valuations are strecthed now so be cautious.

Personally im hoarding cash,vested in NYSE coz i missed the Tech upswing coz i dont undertsand the whole tech thing when something new pops up every day.....Cheers.

And when it dropped to $3.00, at about 5 times book, people were saying Cosco was a screaming buy. Now it is slightly above 1 time book. I am waiting for it to dip below 1 time book, then enter, provided I know the business is progressing well. If not progressing well, the book value may drop further, then price discount has to be larger to entice me to buy. If I miss, then too bad, I still have a lot of other counters to buy. As I always say, too many good stocks, too little money.

x 0   x 1  Alert Admin	At 3.5 times book value and 22 times PE, would there be a potential suitor who would like to buy this company? Would the price matter? If the Super brand was strong, like a Starbucks, maybe. But Super has been trying its best to  DILUTE its own brand over the last few years by selling coffee mix ingredients. So while revenue goes up, profitability drops, and brand value gets obscured. Worth the effort? It is like farmers. Farmers seldom get rich, even if the crop prices go up. Although farmers do volume. The farmers sell the  produce to  the middlemen, which in turn  sell to the end products makers, and then to end users. All except the farmers make money. Now if Super is facing rising raw material cost in beans, and in turns Super makes coffee mixes as the next raw materials for packaged coffee, would margins continue to be squeezed?
