Nothing new as compared to may reply...so the current price is supported by bb who will give way when targets are made...prices has gone up by 30 cents before news surfaced. Decent gain but not substainable unless received firm offer..at least a price to gauge its value....

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	ANNOUNCEMENT QUERY REGARDING TRADING ACTIVITY STATS ChipPAC Ltd. (&ldquo Company&rdquo ) refers to the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited (&ldquo SGXST&rdquo )&rsquo s queries regarding the trading activity in the Company&rsquo s shares on the SGX-ST on 4 June 2014. Following the Company&rsquo s announcement on 16 May 2014 that it had received a non-binding expression of interest from a third party with a view to a possible acquisition of all the shares in the Company, certain other parties have contacted the Company to explore a possible acquisition of the Company. There has, however, been no material development since that announcement. Except as set out above, the Company is not aware of any information not previously announced concerning the Company and its subsidiaries which might explain the trading activity or other possible explanation for the trading activity. The Company confirms that it is in compliance with the SGX-ST listing rules, including Rule 703. The Company will make an appropriate announcement in the event that there are any material developments on this matter. Shareholders of the Company and investors are therefore advised to exercise caution when dealing in shares in and other securities of the Company.
