x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	i believe this demerger exercise is very good for both companies in the long run, SCI can continue its Urban and renewal Energy business which are both posting good profits without being pulled down by SMM. SMM on the other hand is like a Casino bet already, factors like Crude Oil prices, Kepcorp-SMM merger or total delist. We are given free chips to play, why not. It might hit the jackpot.

It will not need to contribute cash as part of its rights subscription. Temasek has agreed to sub-underwrite the remaining S$0.6 billion of the issue

I put all my cash in SCI hope that I can recover my loss in SMM True enough it may come true and I may win big this round at $1.50 for 80 lot. Go through the video, I may buy 200 lot of right issue for 40 lot of SMM share I own In my view if correct Temasek Demerger SMM from SCI is to at later stage to merger with Keppel Corp. SMM yard have been completed and it have use up a lot of money in it (our investment money) Oil price will be going up as US shale oil company have gone bankruptcy lioa and Brazil will be pouring business in, 500 million for the Brazil facility. Basically Sembcorp will exchange Sembmarine 1.5B debt for Sembmarine Shares , after which it will be distributed FOC to SembCorp as dividend  Honestly -> Sembcorp is not raking in lots of profit currently but yet giving out very generous dividend ( in the form of Sembmarine Shares )-> I can' t help but think that they are " obligated/forced" to do so by Ah Gong - > in order to facilitate a merger between the new standalone Sembmarine and KepCorp later.
