Afterall i was caught in the run up from $23 to $29 last year and i thought how can a company with such strong fundamentals crash. But i got burned when it fell off a cliff from $29 to $13 in 2 freaking weeks. Nothing was even wrong with Venture's fundamentals. In fact div were increased. It just didn't make any sense so i cut losses. Do not compare Venture with other tech stocks, Hi-P rised 40% , AEM rised 90%, but Venture stayed calm during the rally period. I do not know who or what factors suppressed Venture so much but do not expect too much from Venture. I am still confident that it will go back to sgd20, but do not ignore trademaster' s mouth and free fall is not the strange thing that would happen in Venture again.

x 0   x 1  Alert Admin	folks confuse fundamental with technical analysis here. the two are totally different needless to say. in times of this, where there are clear signs of 1) china bottoming out / slow down contained and 2) ' trade deal' and temporary de-escalation of world trade tension, the ' bad news' or the heavy ' overhang' suppressing stocks like venture that have been lifted, just to apply technical analysis here imo will hardly get you the trading results so desired. unless of course such ' technical analysis' has the analyst own bias (normal) and agenda (be mindful). to me, the past two days action is typical ' sell the news' reaction and maybe a bit negative reaction towards to weak data re SG electronic exports in Nov, but the counter is nowhere near ' free falling' by any means. and btw, for ppl who say venture only makes e-cig for PM, you need to read up on the company you invest :) it is true venture is not a ' tech' company in a traditional sense but more like a tech manufacturing company, but it is much more than just an e-cig maker. life science, genomic and DNA sequencing equipment for one la

And, Hi-P and AEM are real tech companies and that is why showing good result in stock price, but for Venture is known as tech, but I dont see any technology in Venture Company as their biggest key customer is Philip Morris. Venture manufacturing e-cigarettes for them and other customers in Venture. The CEO is very secretive on their customers base. That is why Venture is very calm. This is based on what I know. x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	It shoot and manage to find its resistance. Now it&rsquo s need to find its support. Best support is if it touches   uptrend or ema. The strongest of the strongest support is trendline, but ema in this case will do. 20 day ema is inclining up rather fast. I don&rsquo t believe it will freefall down to trendline as TOO much buyers and little sellers there. The ema support should be good. Or even GAP at about $15.98.  It&rsquo s about time the ema should start acting as support for venture already as it&rsquo s already in correct order ema mode. If trendline acts as support for this stock. Definitely bullish too, but slower up (but this trendline is damn fast up moving too). as such be it $15+/$16+, the time for it to move on to $17 will come.  Buy for Long term for its discount is still really too substantial

x 1   x 1  Alert Admin	the fear mongering on this thread is staggering. free fall on back of what? saw the china data lately? saw the equity market rally (china, hk, us etc) lately? saw the last remaining overhang on the market being lifted lately (trade deal)? a bit of lagging econ data from the little red dot is backward looking to say the least and barely making a dent in the grand scheme of things. SG and Korea are probably one of the most lowly rated markets of the past 2 years and even Korea is now rallying. Do not buy into the shortist propaganda with the agenda to offload their already squeezed position. LMAO
