Two days of super surge, very likely due to mid cap index fund entry and part of short selling covering which triggered FOMO. Now that the last resistance level 77c breached and short term support, with yesterday TAC 15m at 80c, today open at 79.5c and drifted down to 78c before climbing back to 79c vs 79.5c, clearing some short term profit takers. Consolidation starts and 80c will surely be tested. Once 80c turns support, there is no turning back in the near term (future outlook look promising unless some black swan event). When it starts to report full year and swee swee revenue up, profit up, 90c achievable (with dividend returns, in 6 to 9 months). And swee swee every quarter reporting up and up, then we will start to smell $1 before end 2026. Actually very fast one, just need to exercise control and only act when close to your target price. Ignore the fluctuations and stick to your original plan. My YFH 3 years then bear fruits, now that Genting SG price stuck at 70c low range for almost 2 years, next year just nice make it 3 before harvest. Hahaha.. | ||||

Actually Genting peaked at $1.20 in 2023. Given it has more properties now than before, and also the changed holdco dynamic these seem to be positive factors that suggest the future is brighter than the situation in 2023. |

never wrong to take profit. I also took 2 rounds of dividends before this. Now left with some holdings in cash, cpf and srs.

I just off load 100k at 79c under CPF, the remaining 50% maybe wait later Also not life changing, can see 4digit profits but cant use 😂 For those under cash, maybe still hold on, have 2c dividend next May. | ||||

Thanks for sharing your analysis - am sure some of the short-sell is due to hedge funds managing their portfolio risks but there should be more buying to cover the outstanding short-sell. Lets see if the stock can recover to its former glory days of $1. Good luck to those vested.

Open short position below shows peaked on 20251017 of 606,045,680 shares. There after short covering bought back more than 12 millions. 600 million shares represent above 4% of the total outstanding shares. So likely it is still a long way for short covering and likely to keep pushing up the share price. It is logic for short covering to buy back fast in order to profit from it.
