Est. asset value not reflected in balance sheet as of end-Mar 19 is about $146.3m (If we assume that the FV gain of $91.67m in calendar 1Q19 is solely attributed to Chevron). Based on 4.12m shares outstanding, it translates to about $0.036 per share if the Chevron sale is completed. NAV of Oxley shares as at end-Mar was $0.3549. New NAV should be $0.39. This does not take into account other SG development, potential sale of hotels at Stevens road, and other overseas assets which will accrue over time. If the market has to give a discount to this counter given the risk it entails, then taking 20% discount translate to about $0.31 per share. It will be extremely undervalued if it reaches and falls below $0.30 again.

At 4+ billion issued shares, all it takes is $40+ million profits to move the share price up 1 cts. Revaluation gains/profits from CH is easily $200 million? Ox is listed on the wrong exchange... | ||||

I for one have always thought ox is special.  Anyway, so many other apparently good stocks are also struggling.  It' s the mkt, or lack of interest in the equity mkt here, which is part n parcel of a famously known global financial centre, that is the real issue.

Struggling hard to understand why analysts and investors are worried about Oxley and hence weak price. Debt repayment plans are very defined and with interest rate projected to drop, they should be in good position. 2019 repayment is on track and Singapore projects are mostly selling well and they bought cheap.  https://links.sgx.com/FileOpen/Oxley%20May%202019.ashx?App=Announcement& FileID=559233 |

Savings from lower interest rate env going forward, one-time gain from forfeiture of deposit from aborted hotel sale, completion of CH sale.  Three +ves to look out for that cld spell higher div from Ox.  Also, if a fresh bullish hotel-sale deal does emerge, I think Ox' s share px cld be pushing higher.  I' d target another 10-20% if all these +ves are realised.  | ||||

To me it is funny that people are looking at technical indicators like RSI and momentum for SGX-listed stocks. Would rather they spend the time to look at RNAV through the timing of their cash flows and booking of net profit to figure out what should be the true value of the stock. |

It is indeed a joke! CEO of UOL, Guocoland ...should stop work and ask for a raise higher then Oxleys. Should not the pay of CEO be pegged to the companys performance ? At $0.30 and with massive debt, whats the justification?   |

US 10yr bond yields sliding quite a bit - at ard 2.05 now.  Seems a interest-rate cut cld be bing priced in.  If so, pretty +ve for Ox.

Thought I should flag - the new Melco City of Dreams Casino is Limmasol, Cyprus is in the same vicnity of the new beach condos Oxley is building in Cyprus, which is bought for comparative relative peanuts in property land sale terms (less than $10m), some years back.  This shows why Ching is a savvy property buyer.  | ||||

What a joke. Oxley' s CEO and it' s Chairman both have higher salary than DBS CEO........................ ![]() ![]() Who are the 40 highest-paid CEOs among Singapore' s listed companies? 14/06/2019, 12:59pm SINGAPORE (June 14):  Prudential&rsquo s Barry Stowe, who retired in Dec 2018, was the highest paid CEO among Singapore listed companies in 2018. Besides being listed in London, Prudential has a secondary listing on the Singapore Exchange since May 2010. For lifting the international financial services group&rsquo s earnings by 26%, Stowe was given a 7.8% hike in compensation to $16.5 million. In joint second place was  Oxley Holdings&rsquo Ching Chiat Kwong and Xu Cheng Qiu, executive chairman of China Sunsine Chemical Holdings, who were paid $12 million each although Xu&rsquo s actual remuneration was still pending review by the board and had not been finalised. In fourth place was Dr Tan See Leng of  IHH Healthcare  who took home $11.9 million in FY2018, 6.7% higher than his FY2017 package. The healthcare group suffered a 35.3% drop in earnings in FY2018 from FY2017. Tan is stepping down by December this year. Coming in fifth was Piyush Gupta of  DBS Group Holdings, the most valuable listed GLC in terms of market capitalisation. Gupta saw a 15.6% hike in his compensation package to $11.9 million for 2018. DBS reported a 27.6% gain in earnings in FY2018 from the year before. https://www.theedgesingapore.com/who-are-40-highest-paid-ceos-among-singapores-listed-companies |
