Its ok, just go attend stock course from Value investing(Sean Seah), Daniel loh and others. It is never to late to learn from the stock investment. Those ezion, midas and swiber are problematic company. Yanlord dont have this kind of problem.  You just wait and see Yanlord rise in next few days. Want a bet with me ? 100KSGD. But what happened to Midas ? and what happened to Ezion? and Swiber? and all the suspended s chips ... I dont suggest that you make recommendation to your students. The rich and the powerful can influence the market, more so if they act in concert. It was quiet and ignored at $0.04 for a long time. Then there is this hope of oil discovery which spiralled it up to $0.12. Buying at $0.08 is already paying 100% risk premium for a hope. x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	All property stocks dropped like poop last few months, in China and HK, and Singapore property stocks also did not escape the selldown. Singapore and China are governed in a very similar manner, as far as property market is concerned. They raised buyers & sellers stamp duty here and there, and curb this curb that. These 2 government have been very proactive in curbing property bubbles. So investors in property stocks have to just suck it up until they lighten their controls. These are self inflcited headwinds thrown in by the government, for the future health of the property markets, but needless to say, investors dont like it. My secret wish: my property stock prices run up sharply first before they curb, then I sell and buy back at low. But I dont have a crystal ball what the government will do, and when they will do. So it is a hit and miss thingy here. x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	I still like Yanlord and his Singaporean boss Mr Zhong. I am vested at higher prices than current. Not happy but can&rsquo t be helped as market condition has turned really bad the last 6 months. Yanlord has consistently been very profitable and its projects are real, especially those that he partnered with Ho Bee.  I am am prepared to ride this thing through its ups and downs. For those who are caught at higher prices like me, don&rsquo t worry too much, as Chinese New Year will always bring some cheers to Singapore and China stocks. Just need to suffer for a few more months.
