When oil spikes, gold tends to rally as well - every time 
seems to be the need to raise cash similar to 2008 where gold dip on market sell off to raise cash and then rallied back hard

In Singapore, contra trading follows the SGX settlement cycle of T+2, meaning trades must be settled within two business days after the transaction date. The old T+3 cycle was shortened to T+2 on 10 December 2018, effectively reducing the window for contra trades.

Gold n silver prices hold well above US$5100 n US$85 respectively despite of temporary strength of the US dollar. The US 39 trillion debt n the US/Israel & Iran war   especially the close of strait of Hormuz is beneficial to both gold/silver investment. With major banks forecasting gold above US$6,000 this year, gold/silver stocks like CNMC is gold to accumulate while it still cheap. Recently,  PhillipCapital  (March 3, 2026) raised to S$2.34, going forward more analysts will upgrade this stock.
