Hatten Land is majority owned by a Singaporean. It is a developer with most of its development in Malacca, mainly malls and hotels. It was listed a couple of years ago in Catalist (and not in Malaysia). Its share price has tanked to about 2.5cents last week before a trading halt was called. Its earnings has not been spectacular either. It shot up today to 6 cents after being on hold the last couple of days because of the announcement of its new venture into cryptocurrency mining in its malls and the installation of solar panels in its malls to power the cryptocurrency mining. Thus, it is not a fair comparison between Hatten Land and CLI on the former' s share price increase today after the halt. The price increase is pure speculation.

Thanks Luke. After having given future information of share price and potential of the company, a dumb investor is defined as a person who regularly buys and then sells the shares at a loss, as a victim of a group of highly organised and sophisticated speculators like short sellers and traders. |

not me pal, I never say u are dumb, someone else :) anyway market is made up of investors so when market speaks it means investors speak.  .And Speculators are investors, and I agree with you singapore no more speculators already, all killed by SGX when they killed blumont. And our SGX only queries counters that share price rises while ignoring those which tank. Is like SGX dun want our share prices to go up. So in the end, is our SGX' s fault. Maybe Malaysia KLSE prefer share prices to do up instead of down  while our SGX prefer our share prices not to go up. Strange

Dear Luke, I am not saying that CLI will climb on 20 Sep. The market decides as I have mentioned not long ago. It was for argument sake, that is if CLI had been in Malaysia and owned by Malaysian, the stock like Hatten Land, would probably climb significantly up 50% or even 140% about 2.4 times NTA. The Malaysian speculators unlike highly conservative Singapore investors, are more optimistic and reflective of CLI NTA market potential. |

aiyo.. so fierce.. market will decide whether CLI will rocket 120% but market is made up of investors ma so in the end is investors decide and not market.. market is just a holding place for investors. Ultimately is the investors that will speak and not the market.

There are two types of dumb. one is the medically dumb, who talk not one is the mentally dumb, who talks a lot when you don' t know how a stock will preform, you should act dumb and not talk and let the market speak but when you want one stock to go up so you can exit, and another to go low so as to enter, you shouldn' t talk so much as if the market will listen to you. Hatten gained a mighty 140% at the end of trading. CICT almost remained unchanged but managed to climb with 0.5% of miserable gain with a volume of 11 million shares. |

In conclusion, Singapore retail investors only know how to speculate downwards the price of share. Their vision is to wipe out the value of the share as quickly as possible. Some like short sellers and traders would celebrate but many of these stupid troubled souls will then cry incessantly. | ||

The price of share of Malaysian property developer Hatten just went up 120%. Malaysian speculators know how to play the stock market . Singapore retail investors are the dumbest in the whole wide world. They should get out of SGX for good. |

I always wonder why investors are so dumb to sell down the price of the shares knowing full well that they will definitely make losses. In reality, negative global market sentiments play a significant impetus for short sellers and traders with no interest at all on the shares to make illicit gains at the expense of true investors.
