i doubt SMM will collaps now after recapitalization, since it effectively wipe out its short term debt for a potential merger with Keppel. SCI on the other hand, i agree high short term liabilities are a concern, not sure if the demerger will improve its interest cover and cash flow..definitely smtg to watch

The company will be giving out SM shares as dividends which is worth ar least $1 for every 1 SCI share.
Personally, i will not sell anything below $3 as SCI post demerger will be lot mre focused and profitable. EPS move up to 14.38 or 22% increase. ROE up to 7.9% from 3.5%. And the best part is it will not be dragged by SM losses or burdened by its debts. All the best. |

So the TERP of sembmarine as calculated by temasek and sci is around 30c Will not be far off +/- few cents .... 25c to 33c | ||||

I have a feeling Temasek May merge O& G of Keppel and Semb marine. Long term this is good for SCI and definitely worth more than 3 dollar stock... |
