SCI demerger is really a good move by TH.
The value of SCI has been depressed too long due to one marine biz within the company. This newly transformed SCI will be stronger and more profitable. Hold for long term. Vested recently 220 lots at 1.38. All huat and dun sell too early. The best is yet to come. |

Bro .....Temasek NEED not take it private if this deal is NOT approved....what will SM shareholder have ( nothing ) Dont forget taking it private will have to give an offer ////// why T n Semb Corp SH wld accept if this fail ALso the AVE of 30c for SM was base on last closing price of aro 80c......most SH hv higher cost ...so their ave is MUCH higher. Best is to accept this offer ( Or SM will still die slowly ...draining cash daily . Oil is not going to come back soon ) ALSO MANY SM SH are SCI shareholders ....will they vote for it . Including some funds ( mayb we can check ) So I am confident it will past ( like last chance to sav SM .......dont want to end up like Hyflux ) Dont forget after the whole episode ....SM SH will look forward to have Kep O& M merging with Smeb M to form one large rig company . Gd luck / my view only

Yes agree with u. very obvious ..Temasek simply just want to bail them out.. this is definitely good for Long term for SCI.. all the number is useless to look at... look at sci energy and utilise business. They are growing and expanding well...

If sembmarine never go down to TERP of 30 cents but maintain 55 cents
It is 4290 shares x 57 cents = $2400 free

Now SCI still good px for all who can see the value of this demerge that SCI and Temasek is playing. Naturally when EGM time and after, Sembmarine will fall to their exepcted 20 to 30c but they know it will be back right on after COVID and all the dust settles and biz for the marine starts to pick up slowly. Ah Kong knows what they are playing... | ||||

Hi would like to hear some thoughts on whether recap is a done deal? From reading, it still requires whitewash resolution (voted by SMM minority) to pass? If it does not outcome is (i) deal falls through (ii) Temasek has to take SM private. please correct if I' m mistaken on this |
