x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	I prefer a petition to resume trading ...wonder if it is more useful to discuss this with the BW management first. The share could easily be $3 in this market due to its huge cash stockpile and great profits. Probably get a China company to buy it over and resolve all issues.

The China Ministry of Commerce is unable to grant BW a valid direct selling license or accept any application on this currently. This matter if it takes too long to resolve it is best leave it as an event to be sorted out in future and meanwhile let the shareholders continue to trade in the shares. The risk is fully made known to all. China has not said what BW is doing is illegal either or raised any issue I presume. Auditors / Lawyers can perhaps shed further light on this.

The China Ministry of Commerce is unable to grant BW a valid direct selling license or accept any application on this currently. This matter if it takes too long to resolve it is best leave it as an event to be sorted out in future and meanwhile let the shareholders continue to trade in the shares. The risk is fully made known to all. China has not said what BW is doing is illegal either or raised any issue I presume. Auditors / Lawyers can perhaps shed further light on this.

If they are convince with your reasoning and arguments, who knows they may give up seeking delisting and support your petition instead. Instead of asking what's the true meaning, let's just put it into action and do something about it. We can all agreed that no investors (big or small) would like to lose money in their investments. However, in reality it is impossible to win all the time. They are prepared to accept this reality and just want to get back part of the money that is locked in suspended BWL, with no timeline on when the suspension will end, it may be a good number of years more. This is make worst with the recent announcement of changing the company' s auditors. What they want is to move forward. Despite the pandemic, BWL has achieve good performance and accumulated huge cash reserve. BWL should have been more sensitive to the feelings of retail investors by distributing fair dividends. The directors were instead paid handsomely for the company' s stellar performance which was explained to be in line with BWL' s remuneration policy. How would the retail investors / shareholders felt? (Maybe this is another topic for discussion.) It' s great to have differ views from various parties to discuss and to ponder the best possible outcome, but we can agree to disagree. Not all retail investors / shareholders may have the same aligned goal on how to move forward. Colin.Lim      ( Date: 26-Oct-2021 21:17) Posted: Hi, I am helping my father in law and a group of his friends whom are BWL retail investors to set up a petition. They are intending to petition to SGX to delist BWL as BWL is still not able to satisfy SGX conditions after being suspend for almost 2 years. It is unlikely BWL will be able to obtain the required licenses from China authority in the near term for it to resume trading. They have been very patient with BWL and were hopeful that BWL would shows it' s appreciation to the retail investors by declaring fair dividends. Regretful, such reciprocal actions was not shown by BWL despite it' s good performance and huge cash reserves. Please show some empathy, as their money are locked and there has been no news of when it would start trading again. They have started an offline petition on their own but they are hoping by setting a petition online, it could have a bigger outreach to the rest of the retail investors who are also in this binding situation. If you are a retail investor / shareholders, please show your support by signing the petition.
