I first bought into CRCT years ago at 1.31. So, 1.30 does not excites me. Anyway, I' m not selling even if it ever get to 1.60. Keeping for passive income (dividend). |

If it goes up and crosses 1.31 even better. Anyway that would make no difference to me as I'm more greedy. 😛 And even if I sell it would not make even a ding to the counter. A very small fly only. Haha. | ||||

I think the price will go up steadily till day end of 15 Dec 20. Reason being, many of us got the Rights and if we sell now, we are only left with less than one lot or maybe max two lots from the share from the Rights.  Cost wise, it does not make sense to sell 1 to 2 lots or a few hundred shares.  Might as well wait for after 16 Dec 20 to sell everyting.   |

It may oscillate a bit but I don' t think it will go down to 1.17 (touch wood). When they announced the deal, it opened down straight to 1.21/1.22, I quickly scooped. But after that a couple more chances to get in at even 1.21.

Yes, obviously they have to get funding in order to expand. It' s fair to issue new units, so long acquisition is still DPU accretive, after the exercise. As for drop in weightage of malls, is positive to investors, in my view. Mandate for acquisition has changed to include multiple class of assets. Diversification reduces the risk of overly dependence on revenue from one type of asset. To me, this is also very good development. I see a bright future in CRCT.

You are quoting high mall occupancy but if you look at the direction given by the board, they are aiming to reduce the weightage of malls to only around 30% of portfolio mix. the other 30% will be in new economy and 40% in intergrated development.  My believe is that they will not do this by selling the malls away but rather by expending to get to the desire mix. Not sure how they will fund the expansion but i expect more preferential offering and possible for another small rights issue in the next 3  years. I just hope the next time they do it, it will be at a better valuation the the current round which is at below book value. They issued new share in 2019 and now in 2020.  Expansion mode!

I went excess, CPF, openmarket standchart. My boss and colleague all went in also.. u might not even get the excess... still by balloting and random.. But from business-wise.. these malls quite solid.. all the luxury brands are going in China market to sell their items to the rich...

i dont get it, if you are scared.. then do anything and sell ur shares to secure 1.25? If you subscribe means u shouldnt chicken out isnt it? have some good faith la. At the end, now china malls occupancy is at a very high rate. They convid strategies is pretty solid.. if you have friends staying in china.. you should ask them how is it like in these malls.. after all.. the rights... is 56 to 1000... thats around up 5.6% capital again? not like the ex-right is 2 to 1..... so chill... the dividend still strong AF... the biggest worry now is that.. will this REITS return $$ back to parent company Capital land?

I think most would have applied for excess to round up odd lots. Myself included. As to whether price will dropped or not, very difficult to foresee. Will have to watch 9 - 16 Dec period. If most people believe in CRCT, then price will likely not go down too much. Going forward, the prospect is very good, IMO.  |
