Shortists will suffer loss such as interest expense for holding shorts for so long, plus cost of coming dividends given the stable market price during long periods of shorts. Also more institutional investors will come. No point holding shorts for so long due to Singtel' s strong growth prospects, especially new 5G enterprise business starting big stream from 1 Jan 2021, and NCS expanding its digital transformation to business and governments in the region such as Australia and China.
