Depends. Can be good, can also be bad. Must see context. So is it Sembmarine takeover Keppel, as an acquisition...or a pure merger between KOM and Sembmarine?

Likely to be a strategic merger? I meant it make sense to do it.. especially it has been discussed for pretty long.. they will probably say.. the merger will unlock greater value in terms of business.. streamline business and reduce overlapping functions.. Halt can be a few things..likely some explosive announcement that can affect the trading price.. To me.. it seems like a merger.. or buy-over.. so now must see.. who buy over who.. I guess is Keppel buy over marine.. since back then they demerger from SCI... maybe it was planned back then.. use merger to clean up keppel name? I dont know.. we will see. It can really be anything...

It means no trading is allowed until they lift the trading. Usually trading halt occurs when they are going to release major news regarding their company. Can be good or bad news. Long to enjoy

I entered at $0.189, exited at $0.200. 15 lots I think merger should be good news? This was why i bought initially, but decided to take profit.

Anyone wants to put down what their ideal merger terms might be? Assuming this halt is about the merger. 😁 I have mine but don't think TH would be so generous. Dilution is the worst for SCM sh cause they will lose big time, at least in the ST. | ||||
