At the same time, the domestic inventory of coal in China has reached historical high levels due to low demand and significant imports. During the first four months of 2023, China experienced a modest increase of only 4.8% in raw coal output, while imports surged by a substantial 88.8%. Outside China, falling natural gas prices have contributed to Europe' s shift away from coal consumption. In India however, imports of coal went up 22% and coal production rose 14.8% in the financial year ended March 31st" hmm..hope their cost isn' t as high as last QR or Geo will be in trouble.
