Got trapped last time during one of the surges......realised that this stock is asset rich but generates low ops profits. Dividend payout is miserable,,, so unlikely to stay high for too long unless ops profits improve significantly or there is delisting, 669 room 4-star Yotel is one of the determining factors.

Delisting assumption is appropriate if there is no battle for control. If there is, then it would probably be a bidding contest between the 2 sides. Valuation will be public rather than fight prolonged legal battle after delisting to get control. Just my 2 bits...

Hong Fok has a mandate of 83,676,104 shares buyback. If anyone is going to do calculation, there are at least 50M still not yet utilise. If the war chest is open up, the maths will do results and by then, likely to be delisting and it makes more sense for hong fok to delist given that they don' t even need public money for any businesses. They are cash rich and by delisting, it gives them more flexibility on the control and operation of the company. |

Super undervalued counter. If able to break above $1.1, soon it will be $1.3 and above. The Cheongs has not yet show hand. They have been buying up and low profile accumulating. When it' s showhand time, it will be worth at least $1.7.
