I think one of the options is to form a new company, with a new name, (like Keppel Marine) with KC having the majority share than SCM. Shareholders in KC will get free shares in the form of dividends in species and SCM shareholders will get a ratio exchange of shares for shares. Not insiders info, but heard only as one of the option.

 Alert Admin 		Contracts can be cancelled and KC had a number of cancellations the past year. Anyway they are not included in the books because they have not materialized. The best is just good will. That then depends on the negotiating parties.

Regarding the net debt of KOM look it up in their latest financial report. KC broke down each segment. It is somewhere in the report.

Not necessary. You are assuming SCM will be acquiring. Even then there are many ways to raise funds. KOM has negative assets. So theoretically it has 0 value give it for free the acquirer still has to assume debt instead of assets. 🤪 So if SCM is to acquire all the dead assets must be removed. Then it will make sense. They can for example raise bonds, w KOM in net asset then there is value to do so. Etc etc

The sequence of events after was very typical. Go check out the BG of the so call tycoon. I saw a piece on cimb and him. Red flags straight away.

Not expecting a update today. They can officially keep it suspended for 3 days. So a Thursday halt is meant to give them time to talk  all the way till Monday close,  to make the announcement, so most likely will be a sleepless weekend ahead. The only worry is that SMM have no cash on the table, so no idea, how they can even structure a merger. But lets hope for the best.

This is a gem, been operating and surviving for decades and hawk companioin by major shareholder, only way is up to sustain the viability, would expect 0.280 with upside to 0.33
