It is a pity that even the academics in HK dare not stand up to advise the rioters to go home. HK is not the first to enjoy 一 国 两 制 and will not be the last . The Central must prove that this is a workable system and can be trusted by the Taiwanese. The bigger picture is more important than HK. It is up to you if you refuse to agree : The re-unification of Taiwan is in the agenda and and will surely happen one day. So, nothing will change in HK. The reporter who was whacked by the rioters at HK airport on 13 Agu night was actually poked by the flag pole of an American flag. How shameless. I not China PR but a true-blue Singaporean by birth but I can't help feeling angry at them. This is clearly a proof that the 一 国 两 制 formula cannot work for HK and definitely not for Taiwan.
