3 years holding thus far. Average cost $0.3874 per share, with the latest round of dividend, average cost per share after dividend is $0.3244. Everything considered so far sitting on unrealised gain of 98.42% without even taking into account the 3 years' dividends. Current dividend yield on cost is close to 9% [$0.0345/$0.3874]. In the 3 years, all transactions were ' bought' except one tiny sale of about 3% of the holding to rebalance portfolio specifically to build up stake in Geo Engergy Res. Time taken to reach 100% [including dividends] was much faster than expected. Thank you old Ren! It is not easy and you have not rest on your laulers at all with latest development on the spining off. If I recall correctly, old Ren is drawaing about $60k annual salary and on a few occasions he had repeated the message that he is totally align with the shareholders by sharing the profits through dividends, as he is the biggest shareholders. Looking forward in August with half year update to gauge next year' s dividend amount. $0.0345 this year was honestly above my expectation and hopefully shareholders can get close to $0.04 for next year. Should be attainable if US don' t sabotage the world economy with their erratic trade polices. Side note: Negative views are welcome to act as blindside check but please elaborate with fact and assessment. For the interest of everyone, do not shout thing like fair value 20 cents, 17 cents, s-chips without basis. | ||||

More concrete news out now. US and China will pause tariffs for 90 days. Even then, we do not know what do they meant by ' pause' , is it pause at 0% or 10% or 80% or what. More certainty should emerges in the course of day but SPX future already shoot up almost 3%. Those investors that back out from the $0.72 placement could live to regret. Having said that, pausing the trade war for 90 days is not enough to assure the market. What if nothing achieve in those 90 days or things get escalated again in those 90 days? Let' s just hope good sense and commonsense prevails and if the trade tensions get stabilise, it is almost a give that YZJF will scale $0.81 again in no time. Let' s see. | ||||

hopefully by the time it split Ren will have a detail plan explained to shareholders how he intend yzjfh to go after the separation. ya i don' t think anyone will underestimate what Ren can do for share value. just hope he can give a more transparent outline what direction fzjfh is taking in future. I only have around 200k shares left at cpf and i do not intend to sell it short term. likely holding on 5-10 years minimum unless have changes that force me to rebalance my cpf shares. cash investment i sold off early too bad but also at gain when i sold so moving on will buy back if it drop to my target price. dyodd

agreed that after split yzjfh may go down a bit. yzjm will go up on higher pe as it is growing business from imo/ european green requirements. us 301 is a factors. big ship owners continue to place order with chinese yard. those fund with maritime investment mandate may come back to invest in it. no more dump of yzjfh as already dump. sharebuy back and cancelled already. don' t under estimate yzjfh as a combine business of Debt investment, cash management, investment etc. the profit presented at year end has not reflected the true return yet as there is time lag effect of investment and return. like cash maangement is $1413.3m @ return of 5% about $70+m. in year end result shows only $16.679m. i guess probably time lag effect in recognition of profit. DI previously mostly used real estate as collateral. although huge discount market seems like still worry about state of real estate in china. the situations can see from reports is tier 1,2 cities recovering. other cities local government are managing. 1-3 may property sales will give more indications. maritime business only started after listing. so it is a pure creation of profit for shareholders. hope yzjfh can continue to do more of these. make things beautiful then load to market for shareholders. not like some buy things already beautiful and pay a high price for it. like tencent keep giving out good companies that they created to shareholders. those are all like dividends. pure profit. for me is sit tight with my investment. enjoy the coming dividend pay out in 15may. don' t over investment. can hold then can wait for the 30m shorty to cover at high price form us. dyodd |
