I' m quietly confident something good is going to happen ever since Guo/Lu from Taiwan bought over the management. They will help turn around the trust, no doubt about it. Heard Lu said during the AGM that, from day one, he had been trying to increase his 3% stake. Even recently he was still asking but was stopped by his lawyer. The reduced in DPU, though painful, is the right step. No more borrowing for capex, funding from cash flow and also can reduce debt. The next big move is going into broadband. It will eventually become a significant revenue contributor. Now come the strategic review. Whether it will lead to buy out by third party or general offer from Guo/Lu, we can' t tell at the moment. Nevertheless, this is positive news. NAV of 75 cents is debatable but current price of about 17 cents is definitely undervalue. I' m accumulating for good return in the not too far future. |

Agree with you, mgmt are not so dumb. Dividend is definitely sustainable. If like what a trader said will drop to 0.12, I will load big for a 10% dividend. Point of view depends on whether one is a day trader (day chart) or investor (year chart).

Assume after S$100m capex in broadband infrastructure within 2 yrs, the EBITDA stablises at S$180m. financial cost 55m, maintance capex 20m , tax 20m, new capex 20m per year , the trust still has S$65m to distribute or 4.5 cts per year. So current 1.2 cts distribution is sustainable. Dont understand why so negative to this counter | ||||

This is a 10% yield stock, at best 9%. I was queuing at $0.12 back then. even if part of the business is sold most of the money will still be use to pay off their huge debt and price will adjust back to 9-10% yield base on the balance revenue generating business.. |
