You are correct. Most importantly, who will want to sell at a loss. Nobody managed to buy this share below 7.9 cents. Those who predicted dooms day based on history do not understand history. Everyone already knew people sold below the Rights price previously because they received the shares free from SCI, and hence made a profit. That guy who constantly preached about 5 cents is one of them and should know better. Even more interesting is his prediction of share price based on market cap. Please lah, the price has already adjusted for the dilution effect. No analyst has ever predicts share price based on history nor market cap. Besides this share is already Dead, history can't repeat on something that is already Dead. You can't be Dead Twice. Anyway, I wish someone will pity this person and fulfill his dying wish to buy at 5 cents.

 Alert Admin 		Wait and see mode. Waiting to see what will TH do now, will there be a change in top management, terms of merger with KOM, and any major contract wins.

If no news on any of the above by January, it should go below 7 cts. Even if there is a change in management and the merger goes through by Jan, a lack of major contract wins by then, would mean confirmed heavy losses going into 2023 which will in turn confirm another rights issue within 2022. 
A change in management or the successful  merger will not be able to make any difference.

Temasek' s mandatory general offer for Sembmarine closes with 8% acceptances
TEMASEK' S mandatory general offer for Sembcorp Marine (Sembmarine) closed with 8 per cent acceptances on Wednesday (Nov 3).
 
This - taken together with the shares owned, controlled, or agreed to be acquired by Temasek and its concert parties - amounts to an aggregate of about 17.1 billion shares, representing about 54.6 per cent of the total number of issued shares, according to a bourse filing late on Wednesday (Nov 3).
 
On Sept 22, Startree Investments, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Temasek, announced that it was making a mandatory conditional general cash offer to acquire the remaining shares in Sembmarine that it does not already own, at 8 Singapore cents per share.
 
The offer follows Sembmarine&rsquo s controversial S$1.5 billion rights issue which received shareholders&rsquo approval on Aug 23.
 
The offer price is in line with the rights issue price. Startree Investment' s offer turned unconditional on Nov 1, after the total shares owned, controlled or agreed to be acquired by Temasek crossed the 50 per cent threshold.
 
Sembmarine remains listed on the Singapore Exchange following the close of the mandatory general offer.

Price of course is not determined by what we said here,but is human nature to air their view, listen with a pint of salt and make your own decison and remember dun start scolding pp for their view, its not gonna affect the share price anyway although it could affect some pp to wave and make a wrong decison at time, but these pp must remember to blame themself for listening, nobody force them to buy or sell leh...

Different counter got different P/B. We do not know how much market price on SCM. 
My 5cents opinion :-

Confirm on the next support lvl, then, invest.

 Alert Admin 		Not correct, TH is using its shares to push they throught the merger using 50% of its scm in exchange of 100% of KOM. So Temasek own 20% keppel, so TH get 20%. So I think TH ownership of new KOM-SCM will drop from 55% to under 30%. New shareholders of JV are KC shareholders 😉

Yes, already bought all at above 8 cents. Temasek' s average cost per share is about 14 cents.

Would definitely buy another 8-10 million more in the coming months if price stays at 8+cents or below

SIA is reputable. Keppel O& M is reputable. Sembmar is no longer reputable, based on order book, can see Owners/Clients avoid Sembmar.

Sembmar can close shop and bought over by Keppel O& M. Or else, they won' t get orders and wasting the shipyard facilities and assets. All these assets are supposed to gain the revenue before aging/depreciation.

Temasek MGO 8 cents. another less than 50% share only worth value less than 1.2 Bil. After this round MGO, like price free falling to 3-5cents, all will crawl back to beg Temasek to offer MGO again at 8cents or lower. 

today is last day of MGO. price free falling from friday till either merge or bought over deal.
