Reason is, the distribution is set at this pace for the next two years until the profit increased enought to support both increased distribution as well as any future infrastructure investment. But in the long run, I am quite happy to stay vested in APTT as distribution level is still better than most others. Very interesting to note that for equivalent of S$20/- subscription, you get several hundred exclusive channels. Unlike Singapore where you may pay 3 or 4 times more for very much less offerings. There is less  incentive for customers to switch over in Taiwan. However, it is also true to point out that new subscribtions are going to be more moderate as they have pretty much reached optimum customer base already. I think the direction the management is taking is reasonable. They are not like some ponzi companies which borrow money to pay distribution.The distribution were from real profits. Except that they had recognised the need to diversify from cable TV and invest in infrastucture for other business streams. This is sound management if truly carried out.
