x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	As per the announcement released by The Building and Construction Authority (& ldquo BCA& rdquo ) on 12 January 20231, the business outlook for construction industry is expected to be strong, particularly in public sector and infrastructure construction space. The public sector is expected to contribute about 60 per cent of the total construction demand, between S$16 billion and S$19 billion. The Group will continue to bid for projects prudently in underground infrastructure utilities construction leveraging its strong track record and expertise. The operating environment has been challenging for quite some time due to cost escalations in general and the Group will continue to look for various available options and initiatives to minimize the impact as well as sustainable growth. x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	I think, it is because of the lack of big contracts during 2023. People expect big contracts to feel shiok. But they forget that even if they got big contracts, the revenue will not be reflected in 2023 but in other years. I think Ley Choon is operating at full capacity now. Moreover, the chairman said that they will exercise cautious when accept contracts which are really profitable which means prudence and quality projects. I am guessing that contracts will come next year. Meanwhile, for the next 3 years, LC got $315 millions worth of contracts to work on it. Revenue will stay strong and I rather they work hard at current projects to recognise more revenue and beat last year' s profit record. Contract can slowly bring in during 2024 Don' t worry. This is a high quality company.
