x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Wow away for a week and I am please to see  DBS coming to $36   UOB crossed $29 and OCBC is at 13.70  Still weeks to XD for OCBC and OUB    Dbs is on 5th Apr but I dont think most loyal SH will sell as the XB is 22nd April and then the Q1 result up by early May .  Let see new high for our banks  Happy investing.

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	You are right, I missed this. When a dividend is paid, stock price typically adjusts downward to the amount of the dividend to account for value of shareholders. They are going to dish out 42 cts div in May ( confirmed ) and possibly another 42 cts in Aug ( my prediction ) . DBS really just need another $10B profit in 2024 to justify its current growth ....but w India and recent aquisition its result can be on the surprise side .....let see coming 2024 dividend payout .  OCBC , i think 2024 onwards wld be better w CEO plan for another $3B of potential from South China/HK ....strongly possible  Also the gem in OCBC wld be GE ....recent noise certainly wake UP the mgt in some way ....IF and when OCBC add another member to the board   we could see this GE mgt waking up or even changing . Many of us wld recall the last attempt to take it private but failed UOB , with the aquisation of Visa S asia , and the integration , UOB could be a potential justification to be back above $30. Whatever the passing of Senior Wee do open up more aggresive possible moves . ( awaiting patiently )  Happy investing

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Plus all 3 still relatively cheap with div yields over 6% , PE between 8 and 9 , and P/BV 1.1 except for DBS 1.5 . STI at 3200 is still way off its 3800 highs pre Lehman 2008 and I dont think BBs will sell down much further .  Been 16 yrs since STI all time high .
