x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Good question. How to value KOM which is in a situation of net debt 600mil (1H). Q3 they were still losing $ also. Only EBITA +ve. That means net loss when they don' t indicate net income. Same thing happned last year. Anyway, I have been saying since last year, merging 2 loss making company doesn' t make a profitable one suddenly. It seemed Q3 KOM delivered 5 major projects but still faced a loss? That tells me the project quality is not that great. The 5.5b order, I wonder what' s the net would be. I also said merging the 2, especially for SCM to take over KOM would be really detrimental to SCM. Now that' s proven straightafter the news, though one could argue it was also because of the rights announcement at the same time. But how come the merger news did not even help one tiny bit. x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	It is fundamentally true that companies buy back their shares to reward their shareholders as a result of stellar business performance, it is also common that they do that when there is a potential merger. Looking at the activity level, not just by SCM buy back, but from some undeclared funds and companies, it is clear that the merger is imminent. Initially, I though it was the short and contra players moving the price but looking at the short covering data over the past 2 days, 6M and 2M respectively, it does not seem to be their work. Compare this to the several hundred million of shares changing hands last week andin the   early part of this week. All these just confirms that merger is just round the corner!

The language became more and more vile, towards personal attacks, from both sides. Certain members were hell bent on insulting others. It took much longer than I expected to have it locked. I am just surprise it was not deleted which seems to be the norm when things like that happened. DYODD, not happy don' t buy. See values then buy. Or short or whatever you like. And no need to repeat everything every hour or day. A member did that in another thread and was really disliked by many. Countless of threads deleted later, I think he was finally banned. 何 苦 ?
