SQG.V owns about 40% of 40E, and nearly all of SQG.V' s NAV comes from 40E, with some cash and another small private firm on the side.  If you read the financial statements and MD& A listed on this website SEDAR which is the Canadian filing system you will see the relationships between the two: http://www.sedar.com/DisplayCompanyDocuments.do?lang=EN& issuerNo=00025902 SQG' s NAV is about 14 cents and moves penny for penny with 40E because while it owns about 150 million shares in 40E, it also has about 150 million shares outstanding. The only difference would be exchange rate moves between Canadian and Singapore dollar.  So when these Spackman guys finally do something big, with the Chinese interested buyer or whoever, SQG is going to win big as well. Imagine if there' s a buyout for 20 cents. That' s a nice 40% win for 40E traders, but SQG is also worth 20 cents because all of its 40E shares have to be bought for that much, more than a 300% gain.  If you are interested in a day trade for one-tenth a penny every day, obviously 40E and its millions of daily volume is the play for you. If you' re interested in holding Spackman for a few months to see what they are going to do with this, and what' s up with this stock being so hot even though the movies in Q1 have bombed, then SQG is the much better deal.
