SIA has too many baggages. Over hedging, interest payments, fixed costs, lack of a domestic market, the opening of flying destinations will depend on foreign governments' whims and fancy, travel restrictions, weak economy within Singapore and around the world. Hopefully, Tata-SIA will not go the Virgin route. One positive outcome of this pandemic is that SIA' s will emerge less arrogant in the future. | ||||

My friend, it is the precise reason why you said you prefer to nibble rather than showing hand, since your belief is that SIA would eventually take-off to great heights. The true reason, though, is that we are more like speculators rather than investors. Investors will probably prefer (other than FD), to buy Bonds, Reits....for Long term non-volatile blue chips. Maybe, at best we are a bit of both, no? Good luck with your accumulations. Just watch out for turbulence ahead.

You can also play alongside the shortists. For the sake of making money, sometimes we have to be 2-faced. Surely you already knew what will draw out the shortists. Bad market days, DJ plunge, negative news releases or reports.......etc. But I have to agree sometimes it is easier to wait, no need to make tough calls, just wait.....haha. As you already seen in this SIA thread, there are many statues here....haha..

No need to follow your principles, just follow the market directions and trust your own instincts. Can be up or down, can turn every other week. Follow the wind directions. There are always hints from the price actions and volume. But, special thanks to those waiting at 3.00. What' s the market depth there by the way? haha... ok, ok......thanks to these guys waiting there, we do not have big queues hogging the buy/sell orders between 3.80 to 4.00 range.
