Once you have bought then just stay sideline and wait if you don't intend to sell this year. As the saying goes, recovery always come with more pain. Long term holders should not worry about daily events but still they must know when to cut loss. Lose less is a winning strategy which very few have mastered. There's always opportunity if you have patience. Don't buy on impulse. SIA is not a cheap stock. Many ppl have lost a fortune dubbing in stocks and their families can be greatly affected. If I have millions of dollars, I would have just lead a peaceful and happy life instead of worrying about the ups and downs of the stock market. Good that they had strong backing.  But with the demise of Jet Airways and the problems of Air India, if Vistara can carve their niche right, and capture the right customers (high net worth ppl), they might just be able to make it soar.  There is practically a vacuum in the domestic market for premium travel currently.  For international traffic, they will have to compete with ME3 but if they can fly non stop to USA and gathers a stronger frequent flyer base from the domestic market, they should be able to make it.  Frequent flyer wise, if they can tie up with Taj hotels, would be an interesting proposition too, and would be an easy capture for Taj hotel loyalists (like me!).  How does Tata has brothers?
