You didn't keep track of CPF minimum sum scheme since it was introduced 1987?
You can withdraw anything more than the full retirement sum at 55 years old or pledge your HDB to withdraw half of the retirement sum.
You hit 55 years old years ago but why need to wait ten years. Thought retirement payout age is 65.

Guess what!!    I hit 55 years ago and the money was not there and i now have to wait 10 years for monthly withdrawal.  like history repeating itself,  i again have a very confident gentleman assuring me it will be there..
This assurance is better ,.  If you give someone a credit card with no spending limit,  dont expect wise investment.

Cash burns are high and fast especially by big guys that are not accountable to anyone and just go Ah gong for more money.  Wanna bet , at this rate SIA will ask Ah Gong for money before the year is out??

 Alert Admin 		looking at the covid resurgence worldwide, SIA shoiuld retrench or furlough more employees including mgmt for at least 12 months since it has got subscription from both public and temasek, and salaries should be cut further at 30% for all mgmt kept on the job. how the shares can go up is by reducing losses. savings is very important during good days, those who did not and bought pte ppyties should have been more discerning instead of letting developers pay high comm to real estate agents who are living very comfortably with 1 or 2 deals a year

 Alert Admin 		What I meant is any investor can just do a " cut loss" with his/her holding even he/she is buying higher than current price.
Why must we always have the thinking that everyone will buy and hold till see profit? If an investor don' t understand the logic of " cut loss" , most likely he/she will suffer in the long run.

Example: Make $1k, will take profit but (paper) lost $500, will hold, hold & hold. If lucky, it will go back to profit but if behave like SIA, gg liao.

SIA group to operate at 7% of pre-Covid-19 capacity in August
 
SINGAPORE Airlines (SIA) and SilkAir have increased the frequency for existing routes even though they are not adding new destinations in July and August.
 
The group' s passenger capacity in July and August will reach about 6 per cent and 7 per cent of its pre-Covid-19 levels respectively, according to a travel advisory posted on SIA' s and SilkAir' s Facebook pages, which were updated on Monday.
 
The SIA group includes national carrier SIA, its regional wing SilkAir and budget carrier Scoot.
 
All flights are subject to regulatory approvals, and schedules are subject to changes, the group said.
 
Customers will be informed of schedule changes via SMS and email. Those whose flights were cancelled by SIA or SilkAir will retain the full value of the unused portion of their tickets as flight credits. They will also be awarded bonus flight credits when rebooking their travel, the group said.
 
SIA and SilkAir added that they will continue to adjust their capacity to match the demand for international air travel.
