 Alert Admin 		Have you read the available articles online on the Star Ferry Riots in 1967 and what did the British did after that?  Now tell me what have the HK governemnt and China have done for HK since 1997 to address the social ills and discontent?

China made it worst by giving the powerful families much more political influence than the British.  The current HK government simply do not want to listen to the people althought the necessary set up, feed back channels, infrastructures  are there, first put in place in the 1960s (if i remembered correctly)   after the Star Ferry Riots.

 Alert Admin 		Here is the thing.    DBS from 24.4x to 23.9x are full of supports here and there.  If things were calmer, we can see a bounce, a  technical bounce.  But if Powell were to disappoint the market tonight, This represent one of the best opportunities (besides the 1st september 10% tariff thingy) for the shorts to take out all the supports in one gap down.

The young HK people do not see a future, they do not see hope of improvement in their life or owning a decent place to stay, to call home.  It is not a case of HK do no have enough land to built apartments, look at the map.  With todays technology and equipment levelling hills and reclaiming from seas are no longer an issue.  The HK government simply do not want to solve this over price property issue and do not have the political will to do so.
