XD does not always trade at a diff of div. One good example, HPH closed flat on xd yesterday. went lower a bit and closed flat it was support with sale of port and potential special div from it. something similar to Singpost, laterest sale already bag 10m for coming Nov. now waiting for the shophouse then Singpost Building which is biggest in perspective. Basically, px movement depends on 3 key component 1) buyer 2) seller 3) Market maker others will be 1) result 2) Div 3) investor etc that affect daily px but market will adjust towards it' s fair value after all the action typically, sg valuation is lower compared to other exchange, untill privatation. It' s your call to decide at what px the fair value is and rightful px for you order at the point of time you pressed the button. For stock like Singpost, you need to have holding power as main driver now is div, monkey can keep the px low till nearing result collecting from short seller and weak holder, even stock like DBS can be presure to 44 dollars range for weeks, end of the day back to 47 and go into record high. Had tbh, yes px will be lower on xd compared to previous cd trading day, 90% time true, what px utimately depends on how market response. buy sell or short, your money you decide just sharing. |

old Chairman already said it's up to new board to reclassify non core assets. I dont think SPcentre it will be fully sold, maybe sell 40% GFA. so may disappoint those looking for huge windfall. Govt will eventually step in, when all the fat is shed. 61 -9 =52? | ||||
