Their ' commercialization' may not necessarily refer to the full process of bringing the product to market. This is what i interpret from the announcement. there is a disclaimer ' subject to Digital Life Line&rsquo s ability to obtain approval from the relevant regulatory authority, bundled with a system that is capable of reading the results of ART cassette and accordingly, authenticate and automate the delivery of tampered-free test results to the intended recipients or authorities'

When Covid-19 started, the whole world was in panic mode to buy masks, gloves, PPE anr .... and there are many companies selling these items and yet ALL the related stock here flourish. Test-kit is something that will continue to be in used and in hige demand/quantity for the years to come. DISA being the first to be issued a licence will benefit greatly once it' s approved for sales, though a few more will come in eventually. This technology was co-developed by SingHealth Duke-NUS Academic Medical Centre and the NUS. Dubbed the Parallel Amplified Saliva rapid POint-of-caRe Test (PASPORT), the technology produces results in minutes, without the need for additional equipment or specially-trained personnel.
