Whatever the prx on tues may not be the be all n end all...as frm there the prx may just drift further down over time as they hv just announce sme contract wins n no immediate catalysts in sight in the near term...But then again who knows, as the only sure thing abt this stock mkt is that nothing is for sure.

KWC results from their operation side is actually not bad but got drag down by their investment activities.

Analysts has really hyped up the special div story no knowing whether KWC will hold on those KTIS share long term or not. Ofc one shuold expect that the chance of KWC selling KTIS stake gets lower as price of KTIS drops and the reverse is true. Anyway, people who has being following KW long enough should know that there are no sign of them disposing enough KTIS share for a special div. However, market might just play on the " disappointed with no special div" .

The market will speak on Tuesday.

When everyone is expecting special dividend. Look at the title of Kingwan thread, " Special Dividend Incoming" .. u know the share price of Kingwan was up due to ppl buying hoping for special dividend. So when there is none, price will drop.

I even provided a share price chart of KTIS to prove that Kingwan 4Q earning will not be as good as 3Q due to the sinking share price of KTIS.

U can judge me based on the price of Kingwan on Tuesday. Im pretty sure Kingwan share price will drop back to 30 cents on Tuesday due to the disaapointment of lack of special dividend.

Anyway I am not vested in Kingwan, just help to warn others against buying hoping for special dividend becos the share price of KTIS says otherwise.

I kana burned before by buying and hoping for special dividends. Bakertech one of them. In Feb, I was hoping to see special dividend or capital reduction, and the price of Bakertech went up to 26 cents i think. Later when results out and only 1 cent dividend annouced, share price dropped from 26 cents pre-results annoucement to 23 cents eventually in March. Can refer to Bakertech share price chart. 24 Feb to 27 March.

5.3% based on price of 32 cents... Not bad lah compared to some counters which pay zero to measly div

You say until like damn jialat like that.....

Still profitable... not like losing money going into damn big debt....

not jialat i know. but many buying hoping for special dividend. For past trend, example like Bakertech when ppl expect special dividend and it never materialised, the share price will drop once news is out that there is no dividend. If u dun believe me, u can refer to Bakertech thread and some others hoping for special dividend but never came and price drop.

Confirmed that the KTIS share price affects the full year results. Earning and NTA for Full year results way below the 3Q results.

Reason: For 3Q results ended 31 Dec 2014, KTIS share price was at it' s peak while for Full year results ended 31 Mar 2015 just annouced, the share price of KTIS was at it' s lowest.

A few questions to ask any expert:

King Wan annouced Q3 results ending 31 Dec 2014.

I think they still have KTIS shares held as " available for sale investments" as indicated in their Q3 results based on market value at the end of the financial period , ie: 31 Dec 2014

At that time, ie: 31 Dec 2014, share price of KTIS was 11.60. There is a fair value adjusment +$10,119,772 as shown below.

Looking at KTIS Share price chart:

So for the coming Q4/FY results ending 31 Mar 2015, the share price of KTIS dropped to 9.55 at the end of March 2015.

Will there be any consequences for the coming FY financial statement ending 31 Mar 2015?? Any experts can comment? or this is not important?

I had warned a few weeks ago that KTIS share price is lowest at 31 Mar 2015 and it wil affect the full year results.

And there is not special dividend declared.. I hope ppl got pay attention to my analysis.

I was right..

King Wan 3Q results when KTIS share price was at it' s peak at 31 Dec 2014. NTA 33 cents, Earning was 7.66 cents

After I warned that KTIS share price was at it' s lowest on the 31 Mar 2015 for it' s FY results : Now NTA only 28.1 cents and Earning only 4.9 cents. Today their Full year results as follow:

There is no special dividend declared. I had warn in this thread that the results will be poor becos the KTIS share price was at it' s lowest on 31 Mar 2015.

The two new projects are as follows:  Supply and installation of mechanical and electrical works for a 6-storey light industrial factory located at Yishun Industrial Park.  Sanitary, plumbing, gas installation and minor sewer works for a public housing development comprising of 6 blocks of 16/17-storey residential buildings (1178 units) with multi-storey car park and commercial/ community facilities located at Sembawang Crescent/ Sembawang Way. These projects have commenced and are scheduled to be completed by 2015. So in Q4 (FY), the fair value adjustment will have to be minus? becos the share price of KTIS is now lower on 31 Mar 2015 (Q4), compared to 31 Dec 2015 (Q3) and according to note 9, the KTIS shares are marked to market values as at the period end which was 31 Dec 2015. So NTA will be reduced?.

Think it shouldn' t affect King wan as it still haven' t sold.

Only the KTIS div given will be count on it Q4 earning which is 0.18 baht compare to 0.30 baht last years.

Mean King wan earn lesser on it div given by KTIS.

If King wan really want to sold off it huge lots will get better offer by 3S holding.

See in SET (thai exchange web site) 3S holding offer 12.44 & 12.42 Baht in 2014 & 2015 to take over huge lots.

Also KTIS Q1 result not bad.
