Doubt there will be one off special dividend, unless the japan properties can fetch good price at/above nav. If i not wrong they issue price was 120 per share, so anything at that level will be gd

  Potential Divestment into, more visible n valuable business?, as specially into emerging mkt . May have enough cash balances too, Coy should be looking to spend n give,  by way of one off special dividend or acquisition (M& A). |

Tks for the reply. Althou i have deivested half of my holdings to fund other stocks, i still believe in IC story and hope the current management will enhance shareholders value as what they mentioned twice liao

Could be quite close to NAV since the last financial statement already showed a significant writedown on the fair value of the properties so i should think the balance sheet valuations are quite conservative.

They are not returning any cash to shareholders but gona reinvest it. NAV 110 but right nw if they sell the japan properties it will not be at the nav level??

at least this is the first step in the right direction - to sell and realise the value of the properties. management hit it on the head some time back when they said the yields were not commensurate to the cost of capital. it would be nice if they returned the cash (or some of it) to the shareholders. in any case, the ' new' shareholders bought in at 0.08, nav is around 0.11 and price is less than 0.07 now. with this move, there should be some upside..

No much movement. Seem like mr market is not convinced. Just thinking nav 110, the issue nw is whether they can sell at what price gg forward and what plans which regions markets they are investing when currently the properties market are quite dull

IMPERIUM CROWN REVIEWS JAPANESE OPERATIONS, EXPLORES POTENTIAL DIVESTMENT OF JAPANESE PROPERTIES AND SETS SIGHTS ON NEW SOURCES OF REVENUE &bull Latest strategy comes after new Board and Management undertook a strategic review of the Group&rsquo s present businesses and performances. &bull Due to Japan&rsquo s low interest rate environment, yields and returns on assets are expected to remain subdued at best. &bull Divestment strategy will release capital and give the Group the opportunity to explore new business opportunities or options that will deliver increased value to shareholders by unlocking intrinsic value of the Group. Singapore, 12 December 2016 &ndash Imperium Crown Limited (&ldquo Imperium Crown&rdquo , and together with its subsidiaries, &ldquo the Group&rdquo ), an SGX Catalist-listed real estate developer and property investment company today announced its intention to explore a strategy to divest of its portfolio of Japanese properties (&ldquo Japanese Portfolio&rdquo ) (&ldquo Potential Divestment&rdquo ) and to concurrently explore new sources of revenue and growth (&ldquo Investment Opportunities&rdquo ). Commenting on its latest business review, Mr Wan Jinn Woei, the Group&rsquo s Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer remarked: &ldquo With the primary policy of enhancing shareholder value, we are starting to review the assets of the Group and a review of the Japanese economic environment over the past few months has provided us with a view that the yields on real estate assets will continue to be low as the Japanese central bank continues to lower interest rates with the aim of spurring economic growth. As such, the board and mgt are of the view that the current portfolio of Japanese properties does not give us the most optimal return on capital deployed. &ldquo In response to the review, we will actively explore a divestment exercise to extract the financial resources and value sitting within the current asset base of the Group.
