x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Same here, hence, .....my alarm bells starts ringing.....  For NIM to improve, the US China Trade talk must have the best possible outcome and suddenly business confident and activity jumps.  Its either that or they are going to charge higher interest to customers.  And how can they  charge a higher interest?  .......I hope they do their own due diligence. x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	The only thing expanding is the pocket books of doctors and specialists, from the medical packages doled out.  I have to think and read really hard - before I realise I will receive probably nothing, except $200 of tax rebates (which incidentally everyone will likely receive including tax resident foreigners) and $150 for my Primary school son Edusave.  In return, we pay income taxes (not too bad relatively), ABSD, property taxes, COE, road tax and GST etc etc. ​ ANyway, I can' t really complain, as I am living the Singapore dream in many ways - country club memberships, landed home, rental condos, a share portfolio big enough to achieve FIRE. But, I don' t think everyone in the late 40s, early 50s age bracket can be living so and are struggling.  So, there should be more help given out to Singaporeans. ( or even a wild boar die on the road ) .....is it not that we Singapore are growing and can afford us to talk n complaint ?? At the end .....is the whole budget moving us forward n bindly Singapore together.......I wish and hope we ( only we Singaporean ) can seriously be thankful and work hard for our future generation n stop complainting ...
