It' s your call to decide at what px the fair value is and rightful px for you order at the point of time you pressed the button.  For stock like Singpost, you need to have holding power as main driver now is div, monkey can keep the px low till nearing result collecting from short seller and weak holder, even stock like DBS can be presure to 44 dollars range for weeks, end of the day back to 47 and go into record high. Had tbh, yes px will be lower on xd compared to previous cd trading day, 90% time true, what px utimately depends on how market response. buy sell or short, your money you decide just sharing.

With oil px settled high on previous day, it was trading in red the whole morning with 8+k selling down in rex and 2k plus for RH, out of the blue, ater 4pm, it just shoot up 3 bids and surge to +11 bid at closing. ecery stock, will have buyer and seller, that' s call trade, win / lose your finger that pressed the button decide.  just sharing.
