Ya. I really like this stock but at the current market... maybe Data centre the way to go.. watch out for the data centre parked in the Sea.. the operating cost is so low.. compared to physical ones. Where i am working at.. we are covering to we-work model.. the strategy even most conservative.. only cut space by 50%... i thought we would at least go 75% space cut.. Yes. i also wanted to observe more but i guess if the recovery was > 2% occupancy i would have stayed till another dividend.. Do watch out for the debt also.. Congrats, profit not bad. U have a point. Mall rental rate per sq ft is much higher than all other class of assets. That' s why I also wary they sold so many malls and bought lower rental yield assets. (Bystander1965 reason about getting rid of malls with short lease balance is valid) Having said that, I' m long long term holder. (dividend play) Will observe for a few qtrs before I decide.

thank you boss. Yes i made some. Both cash and CPF. Cash + 14%, CPF OA + 13%. I spend some time digesting the presentation.. i feel that the retail occupancy recovered 0.7%.. from 30th Jun 2020. My original thought - most people will try to venture into malls and alternative sources of income.. looking at page 24/50... 2021.. 1,195 lease expiring...Even the number of shoppers increased significantly Q to Q.. but it may not translate to spending power.. i like the way they tried to move more into the business park.. But i guess.. because china is crazily mass land.. and with any rich man opening a business.. they will just buy some random plot of land build some nice tenant.. put aircon, 5g.... etc.. I dislike the fact that they keep thinking of buying more business parks... No confidence..... thats my 2 cents, Why you guys staying on>

With so many malls sold, will the lost in revenue cancel out the gain from the newly acquired? The replacements are supposedly of superior qualities. So it should be better. We will see. Anyway they will have to do this routinely because of the lease capped by China' s policy. It would be more interesting to see what the new areas would contribute in the future.

Mixed results. Wait till new acquisition starts contribution. We can then see clearer picture. With so many malls sold, will the lost in revenue cancel out the gain from the newly acquired?

Decent result I would say. Price still below PB which has increased a bit? Yield comparable to others during this terrible 2020. Let' s hope it stabilises around here.

Quite expected though it' s still only 1030. Tomorrow reporting results which should be good due to China' s recovery. Further it has expanded its mandates into bizz parks, offices, data centres. |
